BTC-Yogyakarta (BPTIY)
BTC-Yogyakarta (BPTIY), stands for Yogyakarta Technology and Innovation Development Board. It was founded by The Government of Yogyakarta Special Province in 1999. and designed to support the Government in developing the spirit of technology enterpreunership spread over the province.
BPTIY plays role as an advisory board for the governor in micro policies on research, science and technology development and it’s application in the province. Optimizing the role of research and education institution in technology innovation in order to increase added value of local product competitiveness against the global context is also a mission of the board.
Since 2004, BPTIY supported by Ministry of Research anf Technology establish an Business Technology Centre that serve the SME's for elevating their competitiveness by applying technology and knowledge on business. For accelerating our business, BPTIY became BPTIY Foundation in 2008.
